I purchased 2 cubes of dirt from Eagle and received it in late May. In late June, I noticed my vegetable garden wasnt growing and neither was the lawn where I replanted seed. I checked the garden and the water was not absorbing into the dirt. I called Eagle who said it was hydrophobic because it had gotten too dry in their distribution area. Their advice was to mist my garden for 20 minutes every hour to remousturize it. Well, I did, and still am in the middle of August and the dirt is still hydrophobic and I dont know if it will ever be normal again and my lawn still looks crappy with dead patches. Yes, they refunded me one cube of dirt but the employee I spoke with was short and annoyed by my complaint though he admitted I wasnt the first to complain about this issue. My vegetable garden is pathetic, my lawn looks terrible and I dont know if this dirt will ever absorb water or if I will need to replace it all in the spring. I wont be purchasing from Eagle apecer agai.
Had a delivery of Nature's Blend today. The driver was very professional. He had been going all day and it was also his first day but he was extremely friendly and handled his extremely long load like a champ! Drivers like him make this company a pleasure to deal with!
